Mountain Branch Golf Club (Joppa, MD)

#1: the view from high up from the back tee (394 yards) of the opening very downhill par 4. #1: the black and white tees are farther to the right; the ideal line here is in the right half of the FW. #1: a look back up the hill shows a large amount of junk to be carried on the tee shot. #1: to get around the junk one must go to the left (walking or riding) and this is the view you have.
#1: from 200 yards out in the FW. #1: my drive was left of center and it is not a good line in, particularly with a back left pin this day. #1: a view back up the FW. #1: a view from the front right part of the green.
#1: from the back left part of the green. #1: from long and left of the green. #1: from over the green. #2: next up is a dogleg left par 5 (533 yards from the tips) with a split-level FW, with the higher part right, which is wider, but the more aggressive line being the lower left FW (to the left of the rocks).
#2: this better shows the split FW. #2: I hit a good drive to the right FW, and from here you would have a long shot into the green, but there is a alley to run the ball on to the front left. #2: a look back to the split FW. #2: if you try to reach the green in two from a left FW drive, this big bunker left must be carried, although it is probably at least 50 yards short of the green.
