Running Deer, now semi-private, also uses the Berks hot dog on their grill at the half way house. Very tasty.

Quicksilver outside of Pittsburgh has the best hot dogs of any golf course I've ever played. They are bigger than normal hot dogs and very tasty.

Hickory Valley has a good dog. They use Berks dogs from nearby Reading.

Anyone who cooks'em on a grill and can toast the bun for me. And they have to have fresh chopped onions.

Of course a nice Dietz and Watson is preferred, but I'm not super picky. However, I do like it when a place has the 'fixins box' for you to slather on as much relish, onions, etc, you desire! And I also like something other than a yellow mustard.

I haven't found one that has killed me yet. And for me, that's pretty much my expectation for golf course hot dogs.

How is Heron Glen? I have a cousin who lives not far from there and I passed the course on the way to their house. i was wondering if it was worth the trip up there to play?
